General Eligibility

 
1. Is there a dependent child, age 21 or younger, living with you? Yes No
  a. If yes, are you the child's parent, stepparent, legal guardian, or caretaker relative? Yes No
2. Are you a woman who is pregnant? Yes No

 
 
3. Are you or your dependent child a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen?

4. Is there a family member* living with you who is a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen?

*To qualify, a family member must be a parent, stepparent, legal guardian, caretaker relative, or sibling (under 21) of the dependent child.

Include yourself, your dependent child(ren) under 21, and any of the following who are living with you: parent(s), stepparent(s), legal guardian(s), caretaker relative(s), and siblings (under age 21) of the dependent child(ren).

If you are a pregnant woman with no other children, include yourself, your unborn child, and your spouse if living with you.
