Public Internet Access in Massachusetts

If you do not have access to the Internet where you live, there are many places in Massachusetts where you can go to use a computer connected to the Internet.

  • Public libraries throughout Massachusetts offer free Internet access. For hours and rules, call your local library:

Select your city or town from the "Municipality" drop-down menu and select "Public Library" from the "Library Type" menu.

  • Many community organizations offer free public Internet access. For a list of Massachusetts organizations that are part of the Community Technology Centers (CTC) Network, see:

  • If you have a computer that is set up for wireless, and you need free wireless Internet access, you can use the JiWire Wi-Fi-Hotspot Finder to find free hotspots near you:

Enter your zip code and check "Free Hotspots" to find hotspot locations near you that do not charge a fee.
