MassResources.org provides useful information about a wide range of assistance programs for people in need living in Massachusetts. It provides information on what benefits are available, how to apply, eligibility requirements, benefit amounts, and answers to commonly asked questions.

MassResources.org presents this information in a logical manner. Select the type of assistance you need from the drop down menu and follow the links to learn about the various federal, state, and local programs in Massachusetts to help you. For many programs, you can download an application form or use an Eligibility Check to see if you are likely to qualify.

SafeLink Wireless Lifeline Service is a free cell phone service for Mass. residents with limited incomes. See What Is SafeLink? for eligibility requirements and how to apply.
cold weatherNews about the MassSAVE Appliance Rebate Program: The deadline for returning your rebate form is June 26. A second round of rebates will be offered this summer.
Homebuyer tax creditIf you signed a sales contract to buy your home by April 30, 2010, check your eligibility and find out how to claim your Homebuyer Tax Credit. The 2009 Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) remain in effect in 2010.  Income limits based on the FPG have not changed. See Extension of the 2009 Poverty Guidelines.
