One-Stop Career Centers are state-funded job centers that offer a wide range of services to help workers find jobs and help employers find workers.
Unemployment Insurance gives temporary cash payments to people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. Health care coverage is available through the Medical Security Program.
Several government-funded job training programs are available to Massachusetts residents who need job training to find work, advance in their jobs, or change careers. Information and applications for the job training assistance programs are available at One-Stop Career Centers throughout the state.
Workers’ Compensation (WC) is an insurance system that gives benefits to workers who are injured on the job or get a work-related illness. Injured workers can get medical benefits, compensation for lost wages, job training, and other benefits.
These job programs help teen and young adult Massachusetts residents find and keep jobs. Each of these programs has its own eligibility requirements, benefits, and application process.
